Abstract
The ever changing market and customer demands have been a driving force for organizations to shift from the plan driven approach to more flexible, responsive, and adaptable approaches like the agile and lean approach. Organizations need to think about and adapt new strategies and innovative ideas to ensure every aspect of sustainability. The purpose of this research is to develop assessment model (a decision support tool) for evaluation of overall fitness level of a software organization. The tool takes into account the agility, leanness and sustainability aspect to derive the overall lean fitness of an organization to the rapidly changing market.
