A Comprehensive Survey on Security Threats and Countermeasures of Cloud Computing Environment

Abstract

Cloud computing technology is one of the biggest breakthroughs in technology and business boom. This technology is service oriented that focuses on reducing costs, minimizing devices and paying for used service only. This paper surveys recent research on security threats and countermeasures of cloud computing environment. It begins by explaining cloud computing definition with its layers. In addition, it provides a brief explanation of the common characteristics of cloud computing service models and deployment models. Authentication and access control in cloud computing will be given at end of this work.
