The Effects of Project Based Learning Approach on Learners’ Academic Achievements and Opinions In Web Design Teaching
Main Article Content
Abstract
It appears that the field of education, nowadays, has been exposed to intensive transformations by the technological developments. This transformation process requires the re-examination of individual characteristics and adapting them to the new environments. Benefiting from pedagogical approaches which help learners to foster their thinking and research skills is more important than having those skills. Project-based learning (PBL) that incorporates various instructional approaches allows students to reach knowledge, to solve problems, to connect their current knowledge with real world by supporting student-centred and learning-by-doing approaches. It is also important that PBL enables students to learn by working based on process, inter-disciplinary, and collaboratively.
